What would be a fair package for him?

That's why I was wondering about his value, because I knew he had a lot of money owed to him. Excellent article.
Re: The speculative trade thread
Well, since Miggy got a first place MVP vote he should be worth a lot [/SARCASM]
Re: The speculative trade thread
I think the Braves could work out a deal getting Cabrera and the Tigers getting Lowe (to offset some of the salary issue) plus several good prospects (not sure what Detroit needs so I didn't post any names). If they do move Jackson, they will need another SP, and I think Lowe will rebound from 2009, and he's already proved he can pitch in the AL. Also, I'm not talking fringe prospects, but ones that will make a difference, such as Freddie Freeman, Kris Medlen, Jordan Schafer and the like.
Is this something reasonable? If not, I could see a deal working where Detroit would eat some of the money owed Cabrera.

If the tigers would trade miggy they would not want to take lowe.

They need a SS right now, but no I don't see anything being worked out with Lowe and Mcab.
