How much will each free agent get?
How much will each player get, and where do you think they will go?
Just bold your predictions next to the player and copy and paste the list.
I will keep score of who was right the most and how close you were on your predictions of salary and years.
you get 5 points for guessing the right team, 3 points for being within 20 percent of the annual salary amount and 2 points for guessing the total number of years

Re: How much will each free agent get?
Is bujillion a fiscal amount? Cause that's how much Scott Boras would like for Holliday.

We should make one thats all yankees and see how high on the leaderboard they are at the end of the year :P

Re: How much will each free agent get?
You can just remove Tim Wakefield, sorry, forgot he was already signed, anyone else on this list already signed?
-
Re: How much will each free agent get?
Hate to say it but Yanks are going to make a big time play for Holliday. If they can sign him vs. Damon, bye bye Damon. Matsui has already said that he will take a paycheck cut to keep at DH. Damon had a fantastic season, but age kills him from a big contract. Pettitte is as good as signed. Hughes/ Wang/ Chamberlain can fight it out over the 4th and 5th spot.

Re: How much will each free agent get?
Alot of people think we're going to get Harden. I'm not sure about that. I think Davis/Washburn are more likey considering their ties to Milwaukee. Bedard I could see as well. I also see us signing Mulder and even possibly bringing back Sheets.
-
Re: How much will each free agent get?
I wouldn't Mind Bay or Figgins if we Can't get Holliday, and we still get like 2 high draft pick dont we?
-
Re: How much will each free agent get?
Franklin needs to go. I don't want Beltre, we have Freese, Ryan, Mather, *Sniffle* Wallace:(

The bigger reason is that they have Uggla already and the only reason they move him is because of salary. Trading him to dump salary and then bring in a worse player for more money doesn't make sense :p

Haha, it really doesn't. That is why I have them making their "splash" with Vlad and a couple of pitchers. Remember, this is their year! haha.

bump for anyone that still wants to make predictions to see how well you can place, I will be keeping points
-
Re: How much will each free agent get?
I love how people are attacking others for their predictions. Like you know anything. Like anyone predicted that the A's would be the one's to trade for Holliday.
I can't wait until your predictions are completely wrong so we can all ridicule you.

Re: How much will each free agent get?
Andruw Jones signs with the White Sox.
Ken Williams racking his team up with outfielders who can't get on base.

he isn't Rogers Hornsby
in fact, i can name at least 7 better off the top of my head
they would include players like Joe Morgan, Hornsby, Ryne Sandberg etc.
no Chase Utley is a good hitting second basemen with good defensive skills.
Not the greatest of all time, unless you were being sarcastic.

Yo! You missed Eddie Collins, Nap Lajoie, Charlie Gehringer, Frankie Frisch, Lou Whitaker, Bobby Grich, Craig Biggio, and Robbie Alomar. By the time it's all said and done he'll probably be number 5, but Hornsby, Collins, Lajoie, and Morgan are going to be very tough to pass, especially Hornsby and Collins.
