Jeter is a really fascinating case. He's one of the best SS of all-time, an absolutely phenomenal hitter who has accomplished a ton in his career and a no-doubt, unanimous first ballot hall of famer.

He also manages to be completely overrated despite all that.

This just in ... the 2009 Nobel Prize in Economics has been awarded to ... Derek Jeter.

Honestly, I think he deserves it. Anyone who can get over $100 million to be an average defensive shortstop deserves some kind of economic award.
