Honestly? Clearly not.

The general discussion boards seem really charged right now. It's hard to see how they'd find someone (or who for that matter) that could look at all this and tread the line between keeping things organized and under control without just stomping on people.

No offense to any of our previous mods by any means - this just doesn't seem like a good time or situation to have someone cutting their teeth and trying to learn when to step in and when to let it go.

Between spammers, trolls, and mindless pic-posting, I think I disagree. Having someone to deal with idiots like those would be nice. :)

'Course, it'd have to be someone level-headed with a stable personality, traits in rare supply. :(

I should be a mod because I hate everyone equally and because I have a strong distaste for heavy-handed censorship.

The only thing that I like in the OOTP forums over the Mogul forums are the non juvenile behavior. I like the people here better, actually a lot better. But if some of this juvenile behavior could be booted, I would enjoy, and likely respect, this forum much better.

I also understand Dee and Clay's reluctance to allow mods. Can't you just give mods limited power? Surely there is a line that one or two people could follow that would ensure less trolling, and more seriousness here.

I still considered this forum kind of like going to a bar drinking with the guys. Some guys are just idiots, and you don't bother with them, some you can have long, heartfelt conversations with, and some you just talk simple stuff with. The bartender doesn't have to throw people out, just monitor how much some people are drinking, and cut them off when they go too far and throw a punch or vomit their drink. In this anaology, Dee and Clay are the bar owners, who stop by every once in awhile.

I would vote Bingle, Kodiak and HGM for mods
