How about best team under 25 years old? can anyone do that? under 25, 25 year olds don't count

How? Howard doesn't have an edge on any of them offensively, maybe roughly even, and he's the worst defender of the bunch. Cabrera's no good defensively either. Berkman and Tex are both excellent.

I just hate A. Ramirez, Soriano, and Zambrano of the Cubs, other then that, the cubbies are harmless to me...so i don't really worry about them ;) when they win, then i'll start to care....i don't like the Astros :)

Brandon Backe, M Tejada, Michael Bourn, Hunter Pense, Valverde, etc....I am not an Astros fan hahah....but truth be told, only three current cubbies do i not like, I like the rest of them...but i enjoy your list ;)

I just don't like the kind of players they are....i has nothing to do with their skills....they appear (from a fan that doesn't watch them everyday, just sometimes) to be spoiled, annoying players, who care more about themselves then their team...i have preached down this road before.

I hate Backe, but I love when he makes Albert mad....Albert hit Backe hard when Albert get mad...haha.

I agree almost whole heartedly, but there are a few outfielders I would want, like Bruce, Young, Upton, and votto at first....nice

A pretty damn good team if you ask me.

Votto is 25 and Chris Young is either 25 or 26. I forgot about Upton and Bruce. I will put them in where they should go.

I defended Howard, based on what he puts up...I don't necessarily think he is the best first basemen, or the second best, as I didn't use him there. but i think he is a top 5 and saying he is number three isn't ridiculous, at least to me.

Confusion regarding your Manny Ramirez comment about him playing up to his potential.

I'd take Pujols, Berkman, Teixeira, Cabrera, Carlos Pena, and soon enough, Joey Votto, over Howard.

I was just asking for your reasoning behind it. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just discussing. I don't see the problem in "challenging" someone's views. Isn't that what discussing sports is all about?

The "raw numbers", at least the ones that take into account multiple facets of the game, don't have Howard so good. If you're looking at HR/RBI, then, yes, but, to me, that's a silly thing to do. I don't see how Howard is anything more than roughly equal as a hitter to Tex/Cabrera/Pena, and aside from Cabrera, all the other guys I'm mentioning are (very) slick defenders.
