Branching off of a discussion in this thread, I decided to make this thread. The idea is just to post what in your opinion is the best possible team using all active players.

This is just my 'dream' team if I had to draft a team to compete for the future, not necessarily who I think the best at each position is. This includes age/injury/defense/offense/utility-ness.

Beltran and Sizemore easily top CF's in Majors but I think Sizemore has the edge

Than you shouldn't be questioning someone's thought that Beltran is better than Sizemore, considering it's ridiculously close, and your willing to put clearly worse players on your team at the expense of clearly better ones.

I did not notice it was the best hypothetical team until I made my team. And I don't feel like changing it, so Capps and Bay can stay. I would want them on my team. if I was doing best hypothetical, Capps would not make it(Nathan would definitely, i don't know why I forgot him), and I would use Markakis above Bay. Calm down....

K-Rod is arguably a top 5 reliever, and Reyes is the 2nd best shortstop in the game, and only Rollins has an argument.

I was more or less annoyed that he makes that sort of comment toward Jaker, and then I see that he has like 5 Met players on his list...not that they don't all deserve some level of recognition, but it clearly wins over a player on another team's list just because they are Mets ball players....don't knock someone else's picks unprovoked

Fuentes is the best left-handed reliever available IMO. I wouldn't have a lefty in my bullpen otherwise.

Ichiro gives me a true lead-off.

Forgot about Berkman! crap! I really like him too. Cabrera I got on there, and yes, I think Howard has more value over Teixeira to this point....but I don't think it will stay that way. Cabrera....i am iffy on it...Howard over tex and cabby.....Berkman, I don't know, I kind of dropped the ball on him and forgot about him.

And on Ramirez, yes, I still believe he is one of the best in the game at hitting, pure and simple.
