Proabaly not. the Royals will be decent this year despite him. And with expectation perennially low in KC people will mistake it for him doing a good job.

That's what you'd think...
Unfortunately, it's rarely ever been that way with managers. Their success and failure depends entirely on the way the team they're managing is playing. If the team is doing okay, the bad moves of the manager will be rationalized or swept under the rug, even if he's making a ton of them and no corresponding good moves. If a team is doing horribly, the manager will be scapegoated, even if he has little or nothing to do with the poor performance.

thus a problem, acta does a few things that I question, but I don't see the Nationals failure due to him, if the Royals do fail, it can easily be associated with the mistakes of Mr. Hillman. If I was the Royals GM, I would be thinking long and hard about everything that is going on and see if the reality is, is this team better off without him? i am sure there are internal things we just don't know about though.

Bingo. Case in point: Dusty Baker keeps getting jobs.

i am assuming sarcasm? haha, I am not a Baker fan, he should never be allowed near another prospect ever again. I still believe he is responsible for the fall of many "could be great" players.
But he's nice!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahaha good job Cubbies for getting Pinella
Re: Who will be canned first?
lol dont worry sarcasm intended :D
Re: Who will be canned first?
Dusty Baker owes a substantial amount of his career to Barry Bonds.

Taking out Ortiz while throwing a gem in the WS clincher was great, how does Bush say, strategerie?
Re: Who will be canned first?
I am taking back what I said about other sketchy managers. Acta is the official worst manager ever. When you are standing in the locker room facing each other before a game, I dont expect players to notice spelling since they are mosty half retarded anyway. For Acta to allow them to take the field as the Natinals is 100% his fault. They would have done better wearing T-shirts than this latest embarassement. It was close, but in now official that the Nats are the biggest joke out of MLB, NBA, NFL, and hockey. Hard to do.

The whole NBA is a joke
Re: Who will be canned first?
Yes, but do they enter the game with jerseys saying Cetics? I understand maybe being called the Nicks.

You don't expect players to notice the spelling, but you expect Acta to, when he has to worry about managing the game, etc.? I wouldn't expect any of the on-field personnel to notice the spelling of the words on their jerseys, mostly because any normal person would take for granted that the words are spelled correct.
It's not Acta's fault. It's not the players' fault. It's the fault of whoever stitched the jerseys.
Re: Who will be canned first?
It would really be bad if the jerseys were made in the USA.
