Can We get Mods Back?

Clay, Dee,

Not sure why they went away but can we please get a few posters with mod powers again?

I think the forum ran a bit smoother with mods than without. Especially now. It seems cyclical but there are days when we could see some mods on these forums.

Just my 2 cents.

I agree to this, please. There are a few bad apples that tend to ruin it for everyone else. It would be nice if those could be silenced etc....and all the dumb threads that get started, if there was a proper place that they could be moved etc...having mods with those powers would be nice

Seriously though I wonder if we could get a concerted effort going to see if we can politely request for Clay or Dee to return mod powers to those who had them or new ones if the old ones displeased them.

I'm down with this too please. I don't come here to watch 13 year olds with legitimate, difficult personal problems get shredded by 20 year old cyber-bullies flexing the full power of their anonymity like the true men that they are. In a word "ugly".

I wouldn't want the power, but I think some regular "normal" posters should be allowed to, HGM is a perfect mod

Noted, but we still are having some issues with the mod accounts in vBulletin, and with the concern that some of the previous mods were counter-productive. And with BB2K10 just out, this isn't exactly our #1 concern right now.

That one situation alone should prove that mods are needed. And Clay, I know you guys have a lot going on, but could you do something about that issue? In Metsguy's "I REALLY need to vent" thread some guy named a57nxj or something like that was incredibly rude and disrespectful, and was just a total jerk. If you aren't going to have a mod, could you at least do something about him? Thanks.
