Re: Jay Cutler traded to Bears
and to you Duck, I can't believe how disingenuous you can be.
I made a simple point that Cutler's offense (with nothing) scored more points than the Bronco's offense. You replied that the difference was only one point. I then pointed out that the Broncos defense scored multiple times during the season, and that my point specifically mentioned offensive points (not combined) Points For. You now are trying to minimize the distinction, and having a tantrum demanding FACTS (I can actually envision you stamping your foot when you type FACTS angrily). :p
Um...I think I'm done arguing with you. I'm embarrassed that you're a fan of my favorite team. Then again I'm not surprised, the johnny come lately crowd at new Mile High walks out in the third quarter if the Broncos aren't winning, won't show up to support an 8-8 team, and has less football intellect than the average mom sitting in the stands watching pee-wee football.
Brandon Marshall had it right a long time ago, Broncos fans really aren't anything that they are purported to be. Those of us that have been season ticket holder for more than fifteen years can vividly see the difference. There is a reason that the old guard have given up their tickets. Its just not the same anymore.
Now with McMistake at the helm, it never will be again. Mark my words, this franchise is in completely disarray and its only year one.
Listen to 850 KOA or read the Denver Post. Pay attention to the desperate spin they already were having to sell to keep people interested and the Broncos relevant. You won't find intelligent analysis, but something closer to a sales pitch.
I'm divorcing myself from this thread. I'm an idiot to have even engaged with you, proving the old adage that when you argue with a fool bystanders can't identify which is the fool.
I'm checking out, this has been completely ridiculous...
I would have been better off trying to teach my raiding squirrel to count his nuts.

Honestly, all I read was "Ben isn't that good" and didn't bother with everything else since you were talking to OD, along with the fact they were execesively long, so sorry that I missed the point.
Stop it with the personal insults, especially when you put words in my mouth. I never claimed Ben and Terry were the two best QBs ever. I'm saying you are underrating the abilities of Ben and Terry, and since you pointed them out, Brady and Favre.

Prize winning king of the forest you shall become for bequeathing the boards with a picture in due time to win our version of the Kentucky version. Your horse is your picture and your picture's name is Ol' Crazy. For once a fortnight you shall be that villager who controls the forest.
Re: Jay Cutler traded to Bears
Hey Mightyzug, those that resort to insults to prove a point, like you have done, obviously dont know what you're talking about.
So good, leave this thread, not only do we not give a rats ass about the asinine comments you provide us, you are also doing us a favor. Take your flawed knowledge which is none somewhere else where kids wipe snot on their sleeves and actually buy into what you are saying. Peace.

He has been supported by a Super Bowl quality roster his entire career.
While I believe Big Ben is a top 10 QB in the NFL, I believe he's also the most overrated QB, if that makes sense.

Maybe if you would actually offer anything resembling factual arguments when you make asinine comments regarding things like how Matt Ryan is going to be a piece of crap and Jay Cutler is Jesus returned to Earth, you'd be useful. You don't, you aren't. And if this is what a whining baby you are in the rest of your life, I honestly and sincerely hope that you kill yourself relatively soon.

Most of these players you mentioned really doesnt matter as the key to league success wasnt really about turnover differential in the past.
Nowadays you cannot turn the ball over and win. With the exception of Favre, I would bet the other QB's you mentioned that played in this generation probably led the league their 1st or 2nd season. I know Peyton lead the league in his rookie season.
So to me what your saying really doesnt prove anything. Going off of what we know and not the future, Cutler is a turnover machine and like I said until that changes, he wont be anything useful.

Re: Jay Cutler traded to Bears
Pace released by the Bears
For the record, I was 2 for 2 in this thread, calling the trade a huge win for the Broncos & that Pace would disappoint
Re: Jay Cutler traded to Bears
Curious to see what the Hell Chicago does this off season. Their defense is slowing down, their offensive line is putrid and they don't have much at receiver...and they don't have a draft pick until the third round.
