Well, I did not see THIS coming. They don't have a great quarterback, they don't have a great offense...Hell, they're going to have to scrap to make the playoffs. I think the fact he signed with Buffalo shows just how much T.O. has destroyed the market for himself.
......wow......
I dunno, he might fit in quite well with their offensive scheme. T.O. isn't the speedster he used to be but he's still a good route runner and can draw alot of attention away from Reed to open the offense up just a bit more.
Yes, we know that T.O. isnt the deep threat he used to be....but does he know that? If he is smart he should look at this like a job interview. All he has to do is stay down for a year, let Lee Evans be the deep threat, and show he can still catch the ball. If he can accomplish all those things I think that the market may improve for him next year. Yes he will be a year older but T.O. is a physical fitness freak.
True. While I can't say for sure what Trent Edwards thinks of the deal I'm pretty sure Lee Evans is happy about the move nonetheless. :D
All I gotta say..WTF.
Good luck. Trent, was nice knowing you.
totally surprising
At least the Bills will be better in Madden.
He's not a good route runner, and he has arms that suddenly seem to shrink when he's got a pass coming to him over the middle if there's a defender within 10 yards.
I don't think I have ever seen a receiver who is so big and yet so utterly intimidated by contact.
That would be him.
It reminds me of when people called Deion Sanders the best cornerback ever, and then watching him get run over by Brett Favre.
T.O. is a great receiver, but he should be probably one of the top 3 receivers....and he isn't cause of his inability to either realize his flaws and work on them, or his inability to just work on his flaws.
Its amazing how many times the TO show has been canceled only to be resurrected on another channel!
