We've already discussed in other threads why the other sports aren't applicable to baseball.
This: "It's the team chemistry that makes teams either win or loose" is 100% not true.
No, you're not using his logic. His logic is that being depressed could lead to you performing worse than your baseline talent, but being happy does not improve your talent. And that's perfectly logical.Quote:
thats an oxymoron. If you're depressed and you believe that leads to a bad season, than obviously being happy would make that person significantly better than when he was depressed lol. Just using your logic on that one.
I think his example of "depression" is a lot worse than just being agitated at teammates.Quote:
However, your quote proves that you believe bad chemistry, which leads to unhappy players/clubhouse "would probably lead to a bad season". I'd argue some may play better when angry/unhappy...but that runs a short stint. Over 162 games, a team that constantly argues, doesnt' get along....that will wear thin and blow up.
1) That's why it's also crazy to say that it's THE difference between winning and losing.Quote:
Thats why its crazy to rule out chemistry as a factor altogether, and even more crazy when someone believes that it may be a factor in other sports
2) Other sports are much more team-oriented than baseball. They simply are not comparable.
