I don't see why it's considered a "comeback" when he was never that good to begin with. He was a "rising star" that didn't rise too far.
But he did have the talent to be a #1 or #2 starter on a lot of teams before his lack of work ethic did him in.
I'm planning a comeback too.

A lot of players along the way had the talent to be stars, but for whatever reason, they never reached it. Williams is under consideration for the 5th spot in the A's rotation, so it's not like he's a "diamond in the rough" that every other team somehow missed out on. He's a non-roster invitee that could potentially pay off for the cost-conscious A's, but they're not expecting too much. He was OK six years ago, but neither of his first two seasons were entire big league seasons. Good luck to him and the A's, but you have to "make it" before you can "comeback". :D
