Hudson will sign a two year contract with the Royals next Thursday.
Why aren't more teams interested in him? Injury concerns would be the only reason I can see...he missed time last year b/c of a broken wrist (if I recall correctly), but that doesn't seem like the type of injury that would be considered a chronic or career-threatening injury or anything..but a lot of teams appear to be backing away from him.

I guess when I think of a broken wrist, I think of it as more of a "freak" injury or something that just happens from getting hit in the wrong spot or whatever..not something that is likely to bother him for the rest of his career or affect his performance in the future. No, I'd say your right on the injury front. This is just an odd off-season in terms of when, where, and how the premier free agents are signing. I wouldn't put much stock into the fact that he's not signed yet, it's happening all over the place.Quote:
