Andruw Jones: $15 million for .158/.256/.249... yes, that's correct, his measly OBP was higher than his SLG. Over 1 strikeout for every 3 ABs. Yikes.

Jason Schmidt: Has already earned $31 million from the Dodgers for a grand total of 6 starts with a 1-4 record and a 6.31 ERA.

Last season I'd have been glad to trade them both for a 47 year old Rafael Belliard. I'd even have thrown a prospect into the deal.

Jones did have some good years in Atlanta. You can't discredit him that.

Excuse me, he had a 1.417 OPS in the 1978 season. Almost as good as Bonds' 2004 season.
