I assume he does based on what the case is suggesting. It might still just be HIV but they will either dig up those records from a few years ago or give him a new test before going forward with the case i would assume.

If he has an STD, knew it, denied it and had unprotected sex with her - then he is guilty of a crime in many jurisdictions, and would definitely have some significant liability in a civil trial. Now, it seems clear that they had unprotected sex but everything else is up in the air. But to be honest, if he knew he had AIDS, and didn't tell his girlfriend - then I think that is pathetic and he should face criminal charges as well.

I do agree with this. Thing is, there doesn't seem to be a basis for her belief in this beyond her own suspicions...which doesn't so much look like a credible case.

I'm guessing that she knows more about the situation than we do. There is unlikely to be clearcut evidence - otherwise this might go to a criminal trial. I realize that there is a high probability that this is just be a play for money - but it isn't that unusual, and if it is true then any respect that I had for Alomar is pretty much gone.

I agree with you there. I hate how players personal lives get smeared everywhere, and any celeb. They deserve privacy as much as anyone... Even though some seem to want too much attention, and go and do stupid crap which takes peoples attention away from serious issues. I HATE the media....

It sounds like to me that he may have had HIV but didn't know it until after they were together. But she did list a bunch of symptoms that he had at the time, and if you know what the symptoms were why would you keep having unprotected sex with him.
