I always wondered - the term 'homers' is usually used to throw around at guys that only know their home team, or propose ridiculous trades, overvaluing their own guys in comparison to the league, etc. Right? Negative connotation, maybe an underhanded statement amount their baseball knowledge?
But just being a fan, following your team...is there anything bad in that? I mean, so long as you actually know the other 29 teams, and can name a few players on each?

I agree with that. Thats why I made this thread so it can be convenient for them to rave about signing a bench player. :)
