Maybe one of the religious persons who frequent these forums can tell me what a 'christlike and honorable approach to competition' means.

To me it means you dont play to physically hurt someone, you don't take anger out on other team, you play your best, etc....

So, it doesn't apply in the slightest to beating a team 100 - 0?

Well, they did play their best, and they were not taking out anger exactly, so why does everyone make such a big deal about it?

cuz we live in a pussy society where everyone expects their kids to get a medal and parents dont want them to deal with the adversity of losing because they are so fragile like a flower, they might grow up to be killers.

I love how people, and I am in no way referring to anyone in this forum nbut just society in general, try to act like Christians should not be competitive or play hard. I just don't see that in the Bible. I also don't see God favoring one team over another in sports events period but that is a whole other discussion.

To answer your question though no I don't see anything about how many points yo are allowed to score in a game anywhere in the Bible.

Again, my problem (and I think a lot of other people were basically in agreement) wasn't the fact they kept playing hard. My problem was the fact they're still bombing away with constant 3 point shots when already leading by 70, 80, 90 points.

Has any article said if winning team had their scrubs in or not?
