Too bad, Casey was a lot of fun last year. I remember when he slid back into 2nd and missed the base...then rules himself safe. Hilarious.
I'm surprised no middle-of-the-pack AL team wanted him as a DH/1B option. Not much power, but on-base. Ah well.
would have been a better option for the royals than Jacobs in my opinion

Absolutely agreed. I don't know anyone who would trade Roberts and Markakis for those two players and any prospect. And the Peavy deal would be just as wishful.
