Thanks for Endy Chavez and taking Reed :P I remember watching a game where Reed had problems getting to routine flyballs out in RF and then eventually broke his hand diving to make a catch that he took a bad path to. At least you guys have enough backups though :)

Now we can also add Rob Mackowiak and Bobby Kielty to that list... :p

So, here you call the Mets outfield "mediocre". Meanwhile, in another thread, you're saying they have no holes, and are 100% against acquiring a player who would immediately move that outfield from "mediocre" to "awesome."

In this context, OF=Outfielders

The Mets have a bunch of crappy outfielders (Kielty, Mackowiak, Anderson, Reed, etc.) but that doesn't mean we have a crappy outfield.

Church is good....when he's on the field.

And, especially considering he's coming back from an injury that has ruined some player's careers and really hurt others, a concussion, you can't bank on him giving too much.
