This is a good signing. he's a pretty good LFer and RFer if I remember correctly and he's decent with a bat as well.
He's insurance in CF if Upton's not fully recovered when the season starts. He can play left and right as well, though his UZR was ugly at both last year in limited playing time.

I remeber Baseball mogul 99 or 2K, Kapler was projected to be a monster, I got him all the time and he developed into HOF quality career.
