MLB Network Debut

15 minutes in, I'm enjoying it. Small sample size and all, I'm loving it a lot more than ESPN. Barry Larkin, especially, seems like he really knows his stuff and isn't a babbling idiot. The Reynolds-Leiter-Larkin team, I think, is really good, at least so far.

I guess I should consider getting cable now with the MLB network.

I've learned if Duke Snider's kid shaved, he'd use Gillette.

Well, you'll need cable within a month anyway or you won't get a signal..

I am impressed, MLB Hot Stove seems to have a strong lineup, they sound intelligent, and they have advertised several awesome sounding programs.

Uh oh, they just had Tom Verducchi on...... and even worse, he said the "clutch" word.... Still, I find it much better then ESPN, and Verducchi>Morgan.

Verducci's SI columns generally aren't bad at all.

They are not terrible, but his MLB Network debut was shaky. He immediately claimed the Mets should sign Derrek Lowe because "He exels in the clutch, and can win the big game".
