...Will the signing of Farve go down as one of the worst ever?
If he hangs them up after this season I think it may be in the conversation at least.
You have to consider the season Pennington is having who left to make room for Farve and who will play QB for them next year. This could set them back a few years.
Not the worst ever, he did well, and the Jets had a HUGE turn around. But if they do miss the playoffs... I will have this :D face

He at least gave them hope, far more than Pennington would have given this year....his jersey sold well and they probably made some coin off of it. Despite what many claim, I think the Packers are the ones that SHOULD be regretting things. I do think Farve would have made them a better team if not a playoff team. I realize they had to see this year if Rodgers was worth re-signing in this upcoming offseason though, and really had more pressure to do the move at the time....but although rodgers looks OK, farve would have given them more this year and IMO rodgers doesn't look like anything they couldn't have found this or next offseason through the draft or FA.
Even though Rodgers had a better season statistically? Rodgers also had a worse D & running game. Unquestionably, the Packers made the right moveQuote:
