So, using your wonderful logic, you could decide to spam the boards with whatever nonsense you want, and then when people complain, you tell them to make a new forum for it, and then when they say no, you tell them to stop complaining. Fantastic.

As I said, if OiLF was for pure junk, it'd be fine, but as it is right now, that's not how things are.

This is a sports mogul forum, not some random place where you hang out all day. If you want to debate politics, join a debate club in school, if you want to use the internet you can always start your own forum, or website to talk about your views on politics. I actually wish that ejections and OILF were at the bottom of the forum. All this childish crap that goes on probably deters people from joining the community.

I mentioned this in the talk to the mod thread. This would be a wonderful idea. It would be fine if it was even one thread but I can't even look at the OILF forum now because of this garbage. I am so glad I joined the forums before the last year of post-padding madness or I never would have stuck around.

I definitely feel that it is starting to get overboard. I say that there should be one or two threads for the election, and that is it. These stupid ones like the Special News and the War with OOTP and etc. are just completely useless...

RSR dude you crack me up....no offense but you participate in all this immaturity all the time and when people balk you agree with them about things getting out of hand, how you are maturing, etc and then go right back to post-padding with MetsGuy on the next idea one of you randomly type in acts of boredom!

If it bothers you don't participate....however if you participate it is totally hypocritical to later complain. You were right in at the beginning of this round of "election" stuff!

I have made 1 thread about this election. I have posted in threads about it, yes. But I have only made one, and that is enough. I think we should be allowed to have the election and such, but not have 38472894798 threads about it...

It's the participation though...you are free to participate and if it's your thing fine but don't then complain when it gets out of hand....it would be like me participating in a religious thread and then complaining when 15 threads on the same topic pop up.

However if Ejections and OILF were moved to the bottom of the forums then those who care to talk about sports and the sports mogul game would actually be able to find topics of interest.
