QB, they kinda sorta need someone, like Lecroy, or Bradford, or Tebow
A team this bad would have many holes. I would try to trade down for a couple of firsts and work on the offensive line, because I think they are the most important group on a team as well as cheaper and a safe bet.
Either side of the trenches, probably OL(Maybe this Andre Smith from 'Bama). No use having a good QB if he is going to be lying on his back all the time.
EDIT: Or as ragecage said, trade down, get multiple picks.

I don't think this draft class has that clearcut franchise QB. And I don't think getting constantly pounded, especially when you play teams like the Vikings and Bears twice a season, is going to help any QB's development anyway. Maybe if Sam Bradford enters the draft... but I don't think that would be good either for him or for a team with 14, 15 or 16 losses, which is where Detroit will finish the season.Quote:

Take a flyer in a later round on a guy like Curtis Painter or Pat White, or pick up Tebow in the late first round (they do have 2 picks) or in the second round if he falls that far. And he probably will, possibly further.
