Ok...enough of the E-piss fight.
I used to work for a homeless organization so this hits a little closer to home for me, than others.
Homeless need A LOT of things. And once you're there it's a very difficult situation to get out of. The one thing I heard over and over again was that if people would treat them with the slightest bit of respect and humanity, it made a huge difference.
So, yeah, making fun of somebody who doesn't have a home might make you think you look big, but it makes you look small.

Well, back on topic.....
Romo seems like a good guy. Doing this, helping that couple change a tire earlier this year. Money hasn't changed him like it does to many others.

Would it be better for me to call the homeless guy ma'am? Would that help me not look small? Is that how I show them the slightest bit of respect?
Do as I say not as I do doesn't float with me, personally.
For the record, wasn't I making fun of Romo much more than the homeless guy?

Er, looks like you might've started that fight etothep. However, this is turning into a bit of a pissing contest between six year old boys  , so let's chill and move along, nothing to see here.

That's what I'm saying.
As an Eagle fan, I'm an avid cowboy hater. And I love the fumbled snap, and the Jessica Simpson thing, but when I see a Romo interview and read these stories, I have to like him as a person.
Still hate him as a QB though

Making fun of Romo how?
By saying that he's so worthless he has to hang out with someone who has as little worth as someone who's homeless?
That's the thing that gets me, and I apologize for bringing some pent up stuff out on you, is that people make these kinds of statements and the idea that homeless=worthless is so ingrained in their mind they don't even realize what they are saying.
Re: I hate the cowboys, and laugh at Romo but...
I think it was a pretty nice gesture tbh.
Re: I hate the cowboys, and laugh at Romo but...
I think everyone knows it was a nice thing, but dude you illustrate whats wrong with society by not taking a meaningless joke. If you cant have laughter in your life than what is the point of living. Regardless of subject matter. Im overweight, and I dont get offended at fat jokes, I actually have a sense of humor and laugh, and ironically I was homeless once too, and I laugh at that. Try laughing, its a good thing.
I dont get why people get so easily offended at everything.

Yep. As much as I really don't like the Cowboys, I've never had much of a problem with Romo. Guy wasn't even drafted, but he stuck around, busted his ass, and now he's a starter.
