2008 Baton Rouge Aces
This will be my dynasty of the Baton Rouge Aces which is where the Tampa Bay Rays moved from in 2008. I got the name Aces from the many casinos in the Baton Rouge area.
Ground rules are
-only a max of 3 trades during the season and offseason
-only a max of 5 free agents per offseason
- a max of 3 free agents during the season
- I must not go past 10M over my budget.

Aces New Stadium in the BR area
The Aces and Baton Rouge agreed to a new stadium built next to the levee's in downtown Baton Rouge that will be finished built by Opening Day 2009. The Aces for the year will play in new Alex Box Stadium along with LSU.

Aces sign 1 player and trade for 1
The Aces and RF Ken Griffey agreed to a 2 year deal worth 2.5M with a club option worth 11.8M for 2011. Griffey will be the DH for the Aces and it will be determined where he bats in the lineup.
The Aces also traded for CF Jacoby Ellsbury (86/90). They gave up SP Andy Sonnanstine (85/88) and SP Jason Hammel (75/78). Ellsbury will be moved to RF. Sonnanstine will be replaced by Rookie SP David Price.

I moved him to Catcher because of Brignac and because he had time to develop at catcher since this was right after he was drafted, but anyway thanks and hope you keep reading. and I always do that for some reason lol.
