KowboyKoop, if you read the comments, the author said this:

I should have rephrased that to say they are depending on another solid season from Meche and Greinke to prove his breakout season in 08 is the real deal.
Eric Seidman is one of the best analysts on the internet today. His work at FanGraphs and Baseball Prospectus is impeccable. He made a slip up in this article, but, as you can see, corrected himself.
Re: Marlins send Jacobs to Royals
I find it better not to mention Kansas City or the Royals, Poet. It is safer that way... :D

Yep, they are SOOOO much better then gay fair-weathered whiners who call themselves loyal supporters of the pride of their cities.
Re: Marlins send Jacobs to Royals
I feel like Koop has gotten his point across with the promise of the Royals MANY times. Why do people on here keep saying they have no hope when obviously Koop has shown numerous valid points as to why they do.
Re: Marlins send Jacobs to Royals
They have no hope. Might as well fold the tent right now.

I did read the comments. His comment came a couple hours after my posts, it looks like. Good for him for correcting himself though.
As for his correction of himself...I'd say it's likely that Greinke is the "real deal," but yes, another season of it or close to it would solidify that even more.

Yeah, something like that.
I should say though..that my last series of posts was just critical of the article (and the mlb.tv spot...lord that was awful...), not whoever posted the link...in this instance anyways. I'm sure it'll happen all over again in a couple days when the Royals sign an AA third baseman.
