Funny, Rays are going to the series, but people are still talking about the Sox and even the Yanks. Just proves that TB actually has no fans besides the bandwagon. Would be cool to see them win and keep it in the AL East though.

they have not been good EVER... give them 3-4 years and they will start to acrue fans... the yanks sucked at one point and the mets were good and all you heard about were the mets until the yanks had been good a few years

How so? Sure, they haven't been the best team, but it's not like they aren't selling tickets to their games, so they obviously have fans out there.Quote:

Give them a few years, they don't have the 100 year history that other teams had. Seattle at one time had no fans, they used to draw a little as 600 in the 80's. In 2002, they were #1 if not that in the top 3 in attendance. Winning brings fans...and history brings families.
