I think the priority the US give this event is reflected by their manager's decision to nearly skip this game to attend his stepson's wedding. Does this happen in a regular season MLB game?

If I am understanding you correctly, you are CRITIZICING the manager for almost missing the game in order to see his stepson get married? Seriously!

I wish Davey Johnson would've skipped the game, seeing as he's a crappy game manager.

Meh, I think Passan does a good job. What don't you like about him?

So I'm watching Japan v Cuba and Daisuke looks really sharp. He's got a lot of movement on his pitches and he's locating very well.
