I don't disagree, necessarily, as I do think he should've tried to schedule the commercial at a time that didn't interfere with a major event like the World Series...but, if the commercial was for someone you didn't hate as much as Obama, would you have quite the same outrage about it?
It's inevitable that there would be a major political ad during a crucial game in a major sporting event.
If voting took place after the Superbowl you would see LOADS of political ads during that.
But I think the campaign wanted to get more viewers by having the ad air right before the game.
Nobody's even MISSING any time of the game....the start is just delayed 15 minutes.
While I agree, RSR, that there was no need to delay the game, and the ad couldn't just been ran a bit earlier, you've veered off in another direction now. Really, monarchy?
What?
Yeah, screw all that time that's being wasted on letting the people of the country choose their leaders!Quote:
A monarch would not be elected, and time would not be wasted on voting.
I prefer freedom, thanks.Quote:

What happens when it doesn't reach game 5?
Be glad it's not game 7 or game 1
So, you don't really think that because the start time of a game is delayed for 15 minutes that we should become a monarchy, right?
