I don't disagree, necessarily, as I do think he should've tried to schedule the commercial at a time that didn't interfere with a major event like the World Series...but, if the commercial was for someone you didn't hate as much as Obama, would you have quite the same outrage about it?

Sorry, but the programming schedules of major TV networks are not decided by you caring whether or not the World Series Game 5 starts 15 minutes late (that's all it is).

Don't worry, you won't have to see any more Obama ads once he wins

Yes, actually, I would. Commercials are obnoxious and should never be a priority. I would be frustrated no matter who or what the commercil

But this is delaying Game 5 by FIFTEEN MINUTES... just FIFTEEN MINUTES... it's not like it's an 8-hour Obama ad making it start at 4 AM... it's a half hour ad, making it start 15 minutes late...

So, the question is, why not just run it a little earlier, and not delay the game at all?

It's inevitable that there would be a major political ad during a crucial game in a major sporting event.

If voting took place after the Superbowl you would see LOADS of political ads during that.

Because that would require more of Fox's schedule to get messed up. Say it started at 7:45, then Fox would have Seinfeld cut in half... so they'd have to either show half of Seinfeld or figure out some 7:30-7:45 filler...
