ok my guy wants a contract for over 4 million years and he's asking for over a billion dollars and i also have the newest beta version.
actually this is pretty bad, i dont think i can go on now, cause it seems to be happening with everyone and i dont have the time to click fewer years over 4 million times;)
i have seen this as well, and posted it elsewhere. I had to go back to the old version in order to keep playing.

yeah that seems to be the problem. the contract is for millions of years so the price of the player is for billions of dollars. talk about a long term contract. here is a pic.
Please Clay, do something! We can't afford this! These players are ruining the sport! And I thought those guys on BB Mogul were ruthless!
i tried my old saves games from 2.0.7.0 with the new beta 2.0.90 simed up to the college draft and prices were fine. they were not asking for a contract for a millions years or anything strange.
however if you start a new game in 2.0.9.0 then sim to the draft it goes bonkers.
Sorry about the delay. The patch in this thread should address this bug:

I just installed the new version, but I'm still getting the same problem with draft picks. The first one on the list asks for a reasonable amount of years, but all the others ask for contracts until the year 4M or so, and all of the players have cap impacts of nearly $4B. The new version doesn't seem to have fixed the problem.
I tried a game started in 2.0.7, and started a new one in 2.1.0, and both of them are doing this come draft time.
it looks like for a large majority of the draft picks the scoutign screen is wrong. it shows thousands of years a huge contract. however when you go to draft the player and go into the negotiation screen the price and years are correct.
here is the scouting screen
here is the negotiation screen. notice it is correct.
however is a 9million dollar signing bonus a little to high for 1st round?
Over the past few years, #1 picks have generally had bonuses over $10 million, with picks at the end of the first round averaging around $1.5 million.Quote:
