 He has 30 SV.

I'm thinking between second base, right field, and center field for where I'm gonna play him next season. I'd like to put him in left, but Manny's got the fort held down there until '05 or so.
Thanks :).
He doesn't. The columns aren't lined up right because of how long his name is, he actually has 30.
Oh, I've also been thinking about the possibility of trading Nomar for a first baseman, second baseman, third baseman or right fielder. But then I also think "Nomar's hitting the hell out of the ball this season, and why trade him for one when I could potentially have one sitting in AAA in Ramirez?"
This is going to be starting, more or less, tomorrow. I'll be posting roughly once or twice every other day, most likely, when I have to bring my laptop in for my Computer Science/Java Programming. I'm almost going to try to have AT LEAST one post ready to copy and paste every time I go that class, and I should be able to since I won't have much else to do.
Sheets keeps it Clean

Ben Sheets pitched a phenomenal game last night, keeping the board clean of White Sox runs. He pitched the full nine innings without allowing a run. He only allowed three hits and a walk, and he struck out eight batters on top of that. The complete game was Sheets' second in six starts with the Red Sox, but the first of the shutout variety.
The Sheets investment has proven to be a wise one, at this early stage of the deal. Since coming to the Sox he is 3-2 with a 4.25 ERA, 34 K's compared to nine walks, and .239 batting average against in 42 1/3 innings. He has been very up and down, however. In his first start with the Sox he allowed only two runs and struck out ten in a complete game effort, but the very next start he failed to make it out of the fifth inning before allowing eight runs. Then the next start he allowe two runs in eight innings, and then allowed six runs (five earned) in five innings his next time out. For the first time since being traded to the Red Sox he has put together back-to-back quality outings, prior to this complete game, shut out effort he allowed only three runs in seven innings against the New York Yankees.
Offensively the big guys were Manny Ramirez and Shea Hillenbrand on this night, as they both went 1-4 with 2 RBI's.

This should be returning this weekend. My parents get back on Saturday or Sunday and I should have an update ready for then.
Sorry I didn't update when I've been in Computer Science like I intended to, we started a class project recently and that took up all my class time.
Not acceptable. You need to get your priorities straight young man.
I can't believe your so selfish. All you think about is ME ME ME. MY computer class. MY project. Sometimes you need to think about your fans. Those who sit staring blurry eyed 22 hours a day at their lap top screen waiting for an update...
Red Sox limp into September

August was the team's worth month of the season, but it still wasn't too shabby. The team went 16-14 and now holds a commanding 15.5 game lead over the rival New York Yankees. With only a month left to play, the division is all but sewn up. (I actually finished this month up a while ago, so I don't really remember what happened, so I'm just gonna leave at that for this month.
Month Record (Overall Record and Standing): 16-14 (87-50, 1st place 15.5 GA)
Team Batting: .283
Team ERA: 3.87
RS: 759
RA: 574
Pythagorean W-L: 87-50
The Good:
Johnny Damon is looking like one of the best leadoff men in the game this season. He's hitting .287/.347/.462 with 20 homers, 59 RBI's, and 28 steals this season.
David Ortiz - .305, 34 homers, 112 RBI's. 'Nuff said.
Pedro is still his dominant self. He's sporting a record of 17-5 with 184 strikeouts, 42 walks, a batting average against of .239, and an ERA of just 3.14.
Rookie closer Jonathan Papelbon has now saved 36 games in 42 chances, with 74 K's and 13 walks in 60 1/3 innings, while also holding opposing batters to a .181 clip and keeping his ERA at a miniscule 1.94.
The bullpen has the second best collective ERA in the American League, at 3.34.
The Bad:
In spite of hitting 32 balls into the stands, Manny Ramirez is hitting just .269.
Jason Varitek's batting average has slipped from the .300's all the way down to .260.
I still can't get any production out of second base, as Freddy Sanchez has an OPS of only .667.
Red Sox MVP so far: DH David Ortiz - He just won't let go. He's now sporting a line of .305/.392/.575 with 34 homers and 112 RBI's.
Red Sox Cy Young so far: SP Pedro Martinez - He's currently 17-5 with an ERA of 3.14 and 184 K's in 172 innings.
Minor League to keep an eye on: SS Hanley Ramirez - If Nomar wasn't on the team this kid would already be starting. He's hitting .307/.362/.536 with 24 homers, 97 RBI's, 43 steals, and 180 hits in 136 games at Pawtucket.
