And it's not off-topic. Many people think the Sox lowballed Nomar by not offering him a Jeter-Arod paycheck. My position is just because the Yankees make foolish contracts doesn't mean everyone else has too.
After the whole Manny - A-Rod, Nomar - Ordonez fiasco I just got the feeling that Nomar was extremely angry and discontent with the Red Sox management and wanted out.
