There is no way to twist the numbers to make Ryan Howard more valuable than Albert Pujols, unless you rely solely on HR and RBI.

A quick note David Aldrige (who primarily covers basketball, poorly) pointed out that Pujols shouldn't win the award because his team only had the 5th best record in the NL ...

.. granted he also pointed out that the only other person who deserves the NL CY young, other than Sabathia, is Lidge, cuz y'know "he was perfect."
