Well they have a MVP caliber(atleast this season) first baseman in Delgado, so they probably won't go after him. And their rotation up front isn't bad(Johan, etc.), so they probably won't go after CC. If they are going to spend big money this offseason, it would probably be to solidify their bullpenQuote:

I was hoping for a 7 game series hosted by Chicago, so I was kind of rooting for the Mets so L.A. would get the Phils in 5 instead. 7 games would have been less an advantage for a Cub team that's an absolute monster at home.
Still, it'll be a good series.
Brewers and Phillies should be a good series as well. Both teams are carrying some momentum.
The Mets probably would have been destroyed by the Cubs. Bullpen collapses vs. late-game rallies does not sound like a good matchup for the former.
