Well they have a MVP caliber(atleast this season) first baseman in Delgado, so they probably won't go after him. And their rotation up front isn't bad(Johan, etc.), so they probably won't go after CC. If they are going to spend big money this offseason, it would probably be to solidify their bullpenQuote:

Delgado was not an MVP caliber hitter this season. He was an MVP caliber hitter for half of this season, and his contract is up so I think all signs point to the Mets throwing the bank at Teixeira.Quote:

Especially when you consider how well C.C. performed for the Brewers down the stretch, and his entire tenure really.
