Hate to rain on your parade, but the Dodgers have a worse record than the Yankees. They benefit from playing in the league's weakest division. The Yankees, on the other hand, play in what very well might be the toughest division since divisional play was instituted.

The Yankees will be back next year with another big budget, zero chemistry team that will probably make the playoffs.

Well the Dodgers did make the playoffs and despite a worse record it looks like Torre pulled off another stellar coaching job and took a struggling team into the playoffs!

Yeah. I think if our players stayed healthy and Andruw Jones delivered as promised, we'd be lookin at a 90 win season

And while I'm taking nothing away from the Yanks, my whole thing that started this all was meant as a joke.

Not nessecerily at all...a lot of declining players will be a year older. The Rays will be even better, the Jays will be better.

right now i'm in Albuquerque. There are lots of people named Jesus. None of them claim to be the son of and gods.

If I met a Jesus walking down the street who did claim to be the son of a god, I would probably think he was...well...wrong.
