I agree 100% with this statement.

I agree maybe 46.840923-47.3981289 with it.

Notre Dame isn't even overexposed in my local market, which is saying a lot.
Uh, they have a national TV contract of their own. And yes, they are the most over-exposed team in sports.
Re: Most overexposed team in sports?
Yankees, they are the only team you will ever see having people wear their **** without ever watching a game in their life.
Re: Most overexposed team in sports?
I hate the Cowboys and Jerry Jones.

Nobody asked what team you disliked the most.
Re: Most overexposed team in sports?
Its the Yankees.
The Yankees have gotten basically as much press this season for losing as the Red Sox and Rays have for winning. Its really pathetic how much ESPN slobs all over the Yankees. I realize they do it to the Red Sox too, but I think its much worse when it comes to the Yankees.

Seriously?
Re: Most overexposed team in sports?
Yes, I feel the same way Etothep. Look at there nonstop blabbering about the end of Yanke stadium! They did not do this when The Cards moved, or when the Pirates did, or the Nats...
Re: Most overexposed team in sports?
Yankees and Red Sox.. That's all I hear about on Sportsnet or TSN other than when a Jays game is on..

Well, considering that the Cardinals/Pirates/Nats history doesn't compare even remotely to the Yankees history... that is very understandable.

That is a terrible comparison. Yankee Stadium is baseball history. Not just baseball history. AMERICAN history. That stadium has lived through a lot and seen a lot things.
What had Busch Stadium seen? Or RFK?
Re: Most overexposed team in sports?
Agreed with koolzach and OregonDuck. It's not an apt comparison.
Re: Most overexposed team in sports?
How about the Cubs? I am getting tired of hearing so much about a team that has done nothing for a hundred years.
I am not sure the Yankees can be considered as overexposed, since they are one of the most popular sport franchises in the world. There are people I know whose knowledge of baseball begins and ends with the Yankees.

Is that not "overexposure"?
