Newest Roster Update (September 29th)

Attached is a new copy of the "Universe.dat" file. This file contains the player database for Football Mogul 2009.

As mentioned before, there was a bug that omitted players with long names (Roethlisberger, Houshmandzadeh) from the version included with the game.

This file includes those fixes, plus all 7 rounds of the 2008 NFL draft (plus several more players that were missing, and some rating adjustments).

To use this new file, copy "Universe.dat" over your existing copy of "Universe.dat". If you installed Football Mogul 2009 to the default location, you should be able to find this file in the following folder:

C:\Sports Mogul\Football Mogul 2009

Why be sorry? You were right on top of things. At least you're not Madden where it take at least a few months to fix a small bug.

App the update...however mich. turner needs to be on the falcons not the chargers...thanks!

What error message do you get?

I just uploaded a new Universe.dat (see first post).

There were more than 80 players listed on Falcons in the Rosters file, causing Michael Turner to be left on the Chargers. This is now fixed.

seriously I have bought every sports mogul game now for several years and am very pleased every time!

It worked, but Steven Jackson is on the Chiefs roster not the Rams. :P

update is awesome!, if/when you make a new one could you add more real life college players to the draft, that would be amazing....also idk why it must be random but michael crabtree keeps showing up at like 5'9" and 145 lbs or something like that. when i draft him, when in real life he is 6'3" 214 lbs, not even close...it would be nice if it were more accurate
