HGM, I pretty much agree with you, but I gotta add in Edgar Martinez.
If you are going to put in Albert Pujols, then you must put in Ichiro. They both started the same year.

I agree that Edgar and Ichiro sghould go in. What about Hideo Nomo? He was sort of the pioneer for Japanese players coming to America, and has greatly influenced the game

No. It wasn't a huge, groundbreaking move in the same vein as like say, Jackie Robinson, and he's nowhere near the HOF level based on performance, whereas a guy like Robinson was.
