I say it's just a deal for depth for the postseason.
They could move Eckstein to second with Hudson out for the season.
Exactly the reason for the move. Eckstein never really had a good enough arm for short anyways, and I'm sure its only gotten worse with age so hes probably better off at 2B at this point anyways.Quote:
