That's because you're failing to look beyond two stats. Ian Kinsler is batting .319 with a .378 on-base percentage and a .506 slugging percentage. His OPS+ is 134. He has 39 doubles. He has 26 steals in 27 attempts. He's scored 97 runs, 15 more than anybody else in the AL.Quote:

Kinsler, Sizemore, and A-Rod all played full seasons last year and had ok numbers. Quentin played bench so he really doesnt count because this year is his first full time starting year. Mussina doesnt count because he pitched his first bad year in ages, but he came back to norm this year. Not really a comeback.
The 2 comeback players in the AL are: Cliff Lee (major surgery) or Josh Hamilton. They are really the only 2 players who came back. I would of thought Liriano would be here, but I have a feeling he is going to end up average anyway.
