I say a large construction beam will crush New Yankee $tadium, and then the debris from New Yankee $tadium will crush Yankee $tadium.
And that's the end of the Yankee$.
Paul O'Neill's number shouldn't be retired. Retired numbers should be reserved for the GREATS of a team. Very good players that played for 7 or 8 years with a team don't fall into that category.
It'll be either Jeter or Posada.
It SHOULD be one of them or Rivera....but, given the despicable reaction the Yankee fans had to LaTroy Hawkin's wearing O'Neill's number, I wouldn't be surprised that O'Neill's is retired.Quote:

I really can't see anyone until Jeter/Posada/Rivera/Pettitte are done. MAYBE Bernie Williams, but that's a pretty big maybe.
