So? If I was a GM I would not wait until 3:55 pm the day of the trade deadline to make a trade I can arrange 2 days earlier.

If Ibanez accepts arbitration, no big deal, stick him at DH. He's been one of the most consistent bat in the lineup. If he doesn't, no big deal, get the two picks and rebuild.
