Too many whites?

Anyone hear that rant during the homerun derby? Think it was during Brauns ab's. "8 out of the nine contestants are white, it looks like a Kiwanis Club meeting". Who the f was that a**ho*e? My god! WTF is wrong with people these days? :mad:
I'd imagine that they took who they could get since most of the truly big stars back out of it these days.

From what I can find on the ESPN boards, it was Rick Reilly. ESPN's also dumping the threads that popped up pertaining to that subject.

From when I started watching, whenever he talks, it has been something pretty stupid, so this probably isn't very suprising. Another great pick-up by ESPN!

I seriously doubt that MLB purposely only puts white players in the HRD, it was just a coincedence...

However on the list of staff members of ESPN Rick Reilly was not listed, so I put the complaint as Morgan, and mentioned it as possibly being Reilly

Ortiz is hurt, Manny refused, Vlad refused, don't know Howards story (maybe because there was already one Phillie in it?), Hanley was there as a spectator, don't know why he wasn't in it. Maybe you'd keep Dunn and Howard out just to make sure that you have guys who can actually make contact? MLB HR leader board

a-rd was out... he is considered dominican. its MLB's fault these guys didnt show???
