There's an awful lot of man-love around here lately...
;)
lol. See, we can show our callup-reserve-outfielders some love as well!
Bailey next? I'm thinking we shower some praise on Bailey. Here's your headline:
"Bailey gets crucial walk in 6th-inning of Sox-Twins finale: Bonds' season record for walks in dire jeopardy"
lol
44 is going to be the new 42 in the league!
Moss just tripled!! I am totally starting a fan club.
No, but seriously, he's 1-for-5 today. Not stupendous, but he's filling in for Drew ok.
Yeah, Moss is a good prospect.
(At least I am willing to admit that a rival team has prospects unlike some people... won't name names :))
LMAO...I just looked at the Gardner thread, and don't see anywhere where someone said Gardner or any Yankee really wasn't a good prospect. Instead I see people saying simply to simmer down the rediculous HOF type chatter for a guy who hasn't finished his first cup of coffee in the bigs yet. Nothing more.
And a fair evaluations of Moss was given by me in the Gardner thread. Doesn't say whether or not he's a good prospect...IMO all these guys we''ve talked about are good prospects. Good prospects however fail in the pros all the time....and until they pass that test, they are nothing but what Crash Davis would refer to as 'Meat'.

Brandon Moss - Like David Murphy, a sox outfielder who will likely have to get an everyday shot on another team. has shown signs of brilliance, but very little sampling, nothing to make one think he has long term staying power.
At least people finally stopped talking about liking Wang.
:bump:
I love Alberto Gonzalez!
