That was big news here because even though he wasn't Cy Young material, he was well liked...and coveted by the ladies. Just ask my GF...she's got his freakin' CD for God's sake!!

Ben and Jed signed him, and are supposed to have given him a verbal promise of no trades. Bronson took less money, Theo Epstein came back, and almost immediately shipped him outta town. Brilliant move too, brought us the talents of Wily Mo Pena.
