Pierce was the heart and emotional soul of the Celtics in addition to posting good numbers.
Pierce has been with the Celtics forever he could have demanded a trade but he stayed loyal to Boston fans and he desevres the MVP
Pierce or Allen. Seems like Ray made big shots when Boston needed them. Also got key rebounds, played great D, etc.

Pierce has been one of the most underrated players in the league forever and now finally got to showcase his skills with other talented players. Even if his numbers weren't the best on the C's in the finals, anything close made him most deserving.
