You know the worst thing about Cairo on the M's? He has started 11 games at first base sporting a .207/.288/.241 line. What exactly is Miguel Cairo's purpose on a Major League roster these days? I thought he was a utility infielder/outfielder, a la Bloomquist. But looking at his defensive numbers he has started at first base the most the past two years.Quote:
